Thank you. It's been quite the time since you wrote those post, but I just found it after having started to follow your blog a few weeks ago. This post really resonates with me, and moved me. For me, I have a place in my mind, it's a place I've had even before I knew the term visualization *grins* I keep coming across posts like these from various blogs, I'm starting to let go of the fear, and slowly easing into the idea of daring to do what I want. Sounds weird, doesn't it? That the one thing we are scared to do, is what we want. That's what the idea of responsibilities does to a person *sighs*

Once again, thanks!

Great article! Personally, I'm a big believer in pursuing your dream. I never understood how some people can live a routine life without knowing where they're heading each and every day.

But you shed some light here. It is practicality and security that sank in so deeply that people forget about their dreams because dream entails uncertainty.

And I like your suggestion of a dream sanctuary. Sounds like it's something that works. I'll give it a try. :)

Cheers~

You've hit this one out of the park.

I use music (usually ambient or spiritual), my family photos, thoughts about my future, and a variety of other things to remind myself how to get in that unstoppable state. Our dreams are out there waiting for us, they are waiting for us.

I love that view from the bridge! In all my years of living in the area though, I've never actually walked across the bridge...I've been in the confines of a car or bus. Thanks for posting the photo.
