Your readers should know about SuperLauncher. With SuperLauncher I drag and drop what I realize is becoming repetitive. I simply drag, drop, and either assign a hotkey or list it on the one-click popup menu. Plus I can group shortcuts which means I can open two folders for backup reasons, or I can open all the files that I need to complete a step-by-step procedure, all with one keystroke.
I guess I really love it because of the drag & drop. It is just simple like software should be. Overall it allows me to work fast. I would say at least 5 times faster then using Windows conventional ways.
I totally recommend it. You can find SuperLauncher at:

There are so many choices today that it's difficult to remain focused. Sometimes I feel like I go from one thing, to the next and then on to the next - never having completed anything I started. And then the thoughts of having to go back and complete half-done things is not motivating at all. You have reminded me of how important it is to break things up into little pieces, but to stay with the goal in mind. I love this from your post, "It’s the movement in that direction that matters the most." So true.

(raising hand) yep I'm totally guilty of losing focus at times! I've found that doing things like making lists, prioritising and setting time limits really helps, as well as staying accountable to someone else. I'll have a look at the dream wizard software too - interesting concept, seems a little pricey though?

Your readers should know that many email/calendar programs, such as Outlook and LotusNotes can serve as constant reminders. You can set reminders to pop up at various times during the day or every morning or whenever you set them for. You can set the reminders up once and then set them to repeat at whatever interval you want. Also you could utilize free screensaver programs, like Webshots (webshots.com), to flash images of your dreams or goals everytime your screensaver kicks in. These are just a couple ideas. There are many ways to use technology to keep your dreams in focus without dropping $60 on a piece of software.
